I posted a question here previously but I do not see it here.
I have two of your printers in our house. I'm very disappointed in your firmware update that basically bricked both of them simply because we choose to use third party ink cartridges. It should be up to me as the consumer to decide who I use for ink, and the printer has worked fine for years without HP branded ink, but in the middle of a project my printer became in-operable because of your forced firmware update. I had to drive an hour round trip to finish printing documents for a project because my printer was blocked from using third party ink that I've used for years with no issues. I'm now having to decide if I wish to switch printer brands over the way HP has chosen to handle this. Also, no way to downgrade the firmware that I could find either.
