When I press the HPeprint icon on the printer screen, nothing happens and I get a message that the printer could not connect with the server, which may be busy, so try again later. I have tried several times over two days. Likewise, on Web Services, I get the same result when I press "Get email address" or "Print report".

Hi @Citizen_Jim,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The issue you're experiencing with your HP OfficeJet 3830 printer not being able to connect to the server for HP ePrint, Web Services, and related functionalities can be caused by several factors. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
- Confirm your printer supports Web Services
- Update the printer firmware
- Restart the printer, router, and computer
- Check the connection
- Turn on Web Services from the printer EWS
- Use a manual DNS server for your printer connection
- Check internet proxy settings (Windows, macOS)
- Update the router firmware
- Restore printer factory defaults
- Remove device network restrictions for your printer
Since these steps are long, I have shared a link with details instructions. Please click here and follow all the steps: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_4152459-4016255-16
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
