Welcome to HP Support Community

I would like to help

Please ensure the printer has the latest Firmware https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16

Next try disabling and re-enabling the Web Services from the printer's EWS Page

- Print a Network Config Page from the printer. Note the printer's IP address.

- Type that IP address into a browser to reveal the printer's internal settings.

- Scroll through the TABS and look for Web services and try Disabling it restart the printer and then go back to the EWS Page and Re-enable it

- After Enabling the Web services, the printer should print out the Claim Code along with the Information Page

Thank you

Thanks for your input. I was finally able to obtain a “printer code” which worked. But I could not complete my instant ink connection to hp. After much consultation with hp support, we found another problem, hopefully the last problem, that some wireless ports were blocked. My ISP provider (RCN) is sending a technician out Monday morning to (hopefully) unblock those ports. I do think hp has a **bleep** good printer, and I sure hope I can get instant ink settled as well. Hope springs eternal!
