Maybe a coincedence, however, since i installed a new OfficeJet 7612, when i try to print to PDF, I can't and I get a pop up window that says "Printer not activated, error code -30". Please help solve this if you can.
Thank you

Hi,
I am not enrolled in instant ink cartridge.
However, I installed a replacement HP 7612 this morning (it had a problem with the ADF) and the problem went away.
I am new to the forum; would you please let me know what to do to notify that this is solved?
Again, i thank you.

@CG22, welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out.
I understand that you are unable to print pdf documents from your HP Officejet 7612 Wide Format e-All-in-One and you get an error "Printer not activated, error code -30".
Don't worry as I have a few steps that should help fix this issue.
This issue could occur if the firmware is not updated to the latest version.
Please follow the steps mentioned in the link to update the firmware: Firmware Update
Let me know how that works.
I hope you have a good day ahead.

I am getting the same error message on my printer. I recently moved states and had the printer packed in its original box to move it. Now that I have it set back up again, I am getting the error when I try to print. The ink cartridges were left in it during the move. I have removed them and re-inserted them hoping to reset the printer, but still get the error message. Any ideas?
