HP LaserJet Pro 300 color MFP M375nw

I’ve had this printer for about 10 yrs, it’s been a workhorse and I’ve never had major problems with connectivity.  It’s been working well until about a couple of days ago when the printer showed “offline”.

I couldn’t get it to correct, so I ran the whole power cycle of the printer, the router, and the computer.

When everything rebooted, both the printer and the computer were connected to the same wifi network. However, my computer can no longer find the printer.  When I tried printing from my phone, the phone recognizes the printer on the network, but it doesn’t print.

I contacted support and we ran multiple tests to try to get it to work, which we have not resolved yet.  We did notice that the IP address that the printer shows is not recognized on my computer or phone, even though they’re on the same network.  That’s about it.

The printer is not directly connected to the modem or computer by a cord, it’s all set up wirelessly on the wifi.

Help!  I love this printer!

This is an older printer and it is quite possible that it is trying to connect to a current generation 5Ghz connection and it is not compatible. if your router supports unique SSIDs then program the 2.4Ghz channel with a differnet SSID and only let the printer connect to the 2.4Ghz channel.

Print the Configuration Page from M375's panel and check the IP address to see if it matches with the one in the computer.

If it's not change the one in the computer and make it the same as in the M375. Before changing it you need to clear all spool off.
If all has been done change the one in the M375 and make it as static IP if it's DHCP or boottp.

Hope it works.
