I am having an issue where my printer will print, but a few hours later will need a deep re-set (plus wasting ink and paper printing alignment pages) to print again.  The deep reset involves unplugging it for a few minutes and pressing the power button to drain the charge in the capacitor, and restarting it and letting it connect to wi-fi again.  I only set the printer up last week, having followed to the letter the instructions in the manual which is available online.  The printer is right next to the router so has a 5-bar indicator for good connection.  We have only just got this printer (having inherited it from a relative) in order to replace another HP printer which had the same issue plus a long history of other tiresome software problems.  Does anyone have a solution for this?  I have never satisfactorily or permanently resolved this before, despite following discussion threads on here and long web chats with HP tech support.   I just want a printer that will actually print!!
