This is a follow on to the earlier message. 

I installed the MS Smart Print. And was able to scan a document onto the PC. It will scan but it refuses to print.

Message in the queue is  "error - printing" . This message is a winner in the maximum obfuscation museum for error messages.

So: 

It connects to scan 

It refuses to Print

When I attempted to add a port. It refused to find the printer. Entering the Name resulted in a new Port that failed. 

Has Win10 inserted a subtle print block? 

Help...
