I'm trying to connect my printer to my Mac, but I haven't found the right software. The HP app only offers WiFi connection options, but the printer model only connects via USB.  My printer is Smart Tank 525. My Mac does recognize the printer, and I've added it as the default printer, but it still doesn't print documents.  

Can you assist?

Hi @Kinder6161 

Try to install with the next Apple Ink Tank basic driver:

 

1. Connect your printer with USB cable:

  • ferRX_0-1769853014648.png

2. Then install the next software

 

3. After that go to System Preferences > Printers > Add Printer

     check steps in the next video:

 

* Click YES   to say thank you, 

* Click Accepted as Solution when question is answered.

I can add the printer, but once I send the document, it gives me an error. Is there any other way I can try?

Ok, then try to reset printer driver in MacOS, please follow steps in the next video:
