Printer does not properly identify photo paper size and i cannot override it. It ALWAYS shows 5x7 even when i load 4x6 photo paper. Rebooting the printer does not work. Rebooting the PC and printer does not work. It used to be that I could override the paper size using HP Smart Advanced Printer Settings. That worked for a single photo print, but at least it worked. Now, when i select Advance Printer Settings, it says "Can't open printer home or EWS page. This feature is not available." Frustrated I can no longer print 4x6 photos!

Hi @FormerSystemEng ,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your HP ENVY Photo 7155 printer. Let's try a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can resolve the problem:
Printer Driver Update: Make sure you have the latest printer drivers installed. Visit the official HP website, locate your printer model, and download the latest drivers for Windows 10 (64-bit). Install the drivers and check if the issue persists.
HP Smart App Update: Update the HP Smart app to the latest version. Sometimes, issues like these are resolved through software updates.
Printer Settings Check: Open the Printers & Scanners settings on your Windows 10 computer. Right-click on your HP ENVY Photo 7155 printer and select "Printing preferences." Check if the default paper size is set to 4x6. If not, change it to 4x6 and apply the settings.
Manual Paper Size Selection: When you send a print job, make sure to select the paper size as 4x6 from the print settings in the application you're printing from. Sometimes, the application's settings can override the default printer settings.
Reset Printer Preferences: Open the Control Panel on your computer, go to "Devices and Printers," right-click on your HP printer, and select "Printing Preferences." Reset the preferences to default and try setting the paper size again.
Check for Firmware Updates: Visit the HP Support website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. If so, download and install them according to the provided instructions.
Reinstall HP Smart App: Uninstall the HP Smart app from your computer, restart your PC, and then reinstall the latest version of the app.
Printer Reset: Perform a reset on your printer. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to reset it. This can sometimes resolve persistent issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
