HP OfficeJet Pro 9120e All-in-One Printer
iOS

I recently got the HP Officejet Pro 9120. I thought I had got it set up ok but when I try to print from my iPad or iPhone the printer is not listed. Instead I get send-to-hp-roam. How do I get it to display the printer name ?!?

Welcome to the HP English Community --

Airprint is Apple -- and yes,

If the printer and the iOS device are on the same network, then AirPrint is supported.

For both AirPrint and HP Smart Mobile, make sure your tablet / phone have both Location Services and Bluetooth switched on during the initial connection.

What?

The printer does not support Bluetooth - the applications use Location and Bluetooth to "touch" the printer's connection to the network and make sure it is available.

Setup and Details are included later in this message.

Likely already done --

Connect the printer to your network,

and

Check that AirPrint is switched on in Embedded Web Server (EWS).

General Example - EWS - Network > IPv4 - Wireless
