Printer doesn’t offer colour option when I click to print

When I click to print a page from my Mac laptop, the options that pop up are colour only - it doesn’t give me any option to change to colour print.  Even the preview panel shows the items in black and white only. This doesn’t happen if I print from my iPad or iPhone - just the laptop (which is only 2 months old)

Hi there, I was using ‘pages’. Would click print, the preview option would pop up, but nothing to change it from black & white to colour - only option showing is black & white. Button for two sided is there though.  As mention if I print from my phone or iPad it does offer option to colour print.

Follow these steps to fix the issue.

Make sure the black and white box is not checked in print settings:-

Hi Sandytechy20 - I’m afraid I don’t even have the option tick box for black & white. I’ve taken a photo to show you.Only options visible

Click on the "presets" drop-down option and select color.

Update the printer firmware

Uninstall and reinstall the printer using the HP Smart app
