Product: Deskjet 1280
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi
I have a Deskjet 1280. It is connected to a computer running Windows 10 64-bit.
I need a driver for this; Windows 10 doesn't have one built in & on the HP website I can only find "HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows" which I installed but that just tells me the printer isn't installed. Any ideas please? I have no disk as the printer isn't new.

Hi, you can try plug and play and if it shows as unknown device or printer icon with a yellow exclamation mark then just click on update drivers, add printer driver wizard will come up, next select manufacturer as HP and on your right hand side , select any one of the driver deskjet 990c or desk jet 6980 or Deskjet 9800. If you don't have any options in the list, on that same list you will have an option to update windows drivers, just update it and you will find the driver options. hope this helps.
