The printer regularly stops working. Deleting and re-loading the printer driver files is not working. I am using the full-pack option on the printer driver choices from hp.

Here's what you need to do:
download only this software
- HP LaserJet Pro MFP M148fdw Printer Full Software Solution
File name: Full_Webpack-44.9.2760-LJM148M149_UWWL_4-1_Full_Webpack.exe (247.9 MB) - Readiris Pro
File name: Readiris15ProHPWin.zip (381.8 MB)
- Uninstall HP printer software, and then remove the printer from your Devices list.
or
- Disconnect printer/scanner from computer- Disable WLAN, WiFi and/or remove the USB or LAN cable, switch off the printer
- right-click Start, search for "control panel" and open "Programs and Features"
uninstall all HP printer software > via "Programs and Features"
- right-click Start, search for "control panel" and open "Devices and Printers"
In the "Devices and Printers" window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.” - Restart the PC
- Close all programs
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the Full_Webpack-44.9.2760-LJM148M149_UWWL_4-1_Full_Webpack.exe
- The installation was completed successfully, now you must ...
Software asks for the type of connection, turn on the printer and wait until the printer is fully initialized.
then continue - Restart the System again < important, a must
- Now the installation is complete.
If everything works, then the 2nd software package, File name: Readiris15ProHPWin.zip, can be unpacked and installed
Document error messages accurately, even better is to take a screenshot of it and upload here.
