Just bought an HP 7900 PHOTO INKJET. Activated via iphone but no printing possible on older Mac (Catalina OS 10.15.7). Ugh. Are there any other HP printers that will work with my Mac or is it time for a new Mac?

JUSST BOUGHT A 7900 INKJET AND CAN'T PRINT FROM MY MAC. MY BEST GUESS IS THAT MY SOFTWARE (10.15.7) CAN'T DOWNLOAD SOFTWARE (OR DRIVER?).  ARE THERE ANY WORKAROUNDS OR DO I HAVE TO GET A DIFFERENT PRINTER OR, WORSE, A NEWER MAC? UGH...

2. Next, download and install below latest Apple drivers package

3. Also you may need to connect your printer using a USB Cable:
