Hi  @PS7548,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I  understand how  it must be to lose printer connectivity after each Windows update

Could you please share your HP printer model number?

In the meantime, here are few steps that often resolve this problem:

1.Reinstall Printer Driver

Windows updates can sometimes overwrite or disable printer drivers.

Go to Settings → Devices → Printers & scanners

Select your HP printer → click Remove device

Visit HP’s official support website https://support.hp.com/  → download the latest driver for your model

Install the driver and reconnect your printer

2.Run Windows Printer Troubleshooter

Go to Settings → Update & Security → Troubleshoot → Additional troubleshooters

Select Printer → click Run the troubleshooter

Follow on-screen instructions to apply fixes

3.Check Print Spooler Service

Press Win + R → type services.msc

Locate Print Spooler

Right-click → select Restart

Ensure startup type is set to Automatic

4.Update Windows and HP Software

Installing pending updates ensures compatibility.

Go to Settings → Update & Security → Windows Update

Install all available updates

Open HP Support Assistant → check for firmware/software updates

I hope this helps.

I'm an HP Employee.
