I decided to purchase the extended guarantee
I searched all the different guarantees & couldn’t find one for my printer .
I asked on the chat line & was given this link , so I purchased it on 12th February.

Now I’ve been asked to register the product with it , but my printer is not shown
Can you please help me sort this out, please ? I only have an iPhone & not very good with these things .

Hi @vj271
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
I understand the situation clearly. You purchased the HP ENVY 6132e printer and then bought the HP 3‑year Care Pack (UG071E). Now, when trying to register the Care Pack, your printer model is not appearing in the registration list.
Let me guide you through the steps to sort this out:
Locate Your Care Pack Information
- You should have received a Care Pack confirmation email or document with the Care Pack number (UG071E) and instructions.
- Keep your printer’s serial number handy. You can find it on the back or bottom of the printer, or in the HP App under Printer Information.
Access the Care Pack Registration Page
- Open the registration page on your iPhone using Safari or Chrome.
- Enter the Care Pack number (UG071E) and your printer’s serial number.
If Your Printer Model Doesn’t Appear
- Sometimes the ENVY series may not be listed under “OfficeJet” even though the Care Pack applies. In this case:
- Select the closest matching category (OfficeJet/ENVY).
- Enter the serial number manually. The system should validate it against the Care Pack.
Check Your Purchase Details
- Make sure the Care Pack you purchased matches the printer type. The UG071E pack is designed for OfficeJet printers, but certain ENVY models are covered under the same category.
- If the system still refuses the serial number, it may be a mismatch between the Care Pack and the printer family.
Contact the Care Pack Support Team
- Since you only have an iPhone, the easiest way is to call HP Care Pack Support directly. Provide:
- Your Care Pack order number
- The printer’s serial number
- The purchase date (16 January 2026)
- They can manually register the Care Pack for you if the online tool doesn’t recognize your printer.
Who to Contact
You should reach out to HP Care Pack Registration Support. They handle mismatches like this and can confirm whether your ENVY 6132e is covered under the UG071E Care Pack. They will either register it manually or advise on the correct Care Pack.
