I was trying to scan a document to my email, which I often do, but this time it says "There was an internal processing error. Please retry or manually check the firmware updates." I have no idea how to fix this. Can someone help? We have the HP ENVY Photo 7855

I have the same issue.

The suggested fix does not work as the Scan to Email option has gone from the printer webpage, HP Smart app etc.

Under Webscan it has Scan to Computer and this is working but there is no option to setup Scan to Email anymore.

The Scan to Email button is still on the printer, but brings up the same message on my HP7720.

I used it as recently as last week when it was working fine.
