How do I get the icon back on my desktop for my HP4550 printer?

To assist you better, which version of Win OS are you using?

 

If the printer driver is already installed on the PC, follow these steps:

  • Access the start menu.
  • In the search bar type 'HP Envy 4500'.
  • Once the device icon appears, right-click on the printer and send to the desktop or drag and drop it to the desktop screen.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue

Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.
