Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've been waiting for an hour for the windows software to install, but it hasn't. It says it's downloading firmware, but it's been saying that for the past hour. Is this normal?

Welcome to the HP suport communtiy.

 

I understand that your printer is taking a long time to install, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to reset the printer.

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.
