Hi @Mka3,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If there is no driver available for your HP Photosmart 7260 printer for Windows 10, you may try the following steps.

  • Check the compatibility mode: Right-click on the installation file and select "Properties." In the "Compatibility" tab, select "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)" from the drop-down menu and click "Apply" and then "OK." Then, try to install the printer driver again.
  • Use the built-in driver: Windows 10 has a built-in printer driver for many printer models, including the HP Photosmart 7260. Try to connect the printer to your computer and let Windows automatically install the driver. To do this, go to "Settings" > "Devices" > "Printers & scanners," and click on "Add a printer or scanner." Windows will automatically search for available printers, and if your HP Photosmart 7260 is detected, it will install the driver.
  • Use a virtual machine: You can create a virtual machine on your Windows 10 computer and install an older version of Windows (such as Windows XP) in it. Then, you can install the printer driver in the virtual machine and use the printer from there.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
