@arunachalammsc, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

To assist you effectively, please provide the printer's product name and/or model name. Below are the general steps to install an HP printer:

Unbox the Printer: Unbox your printer, remove all packing materials, and ensure all components are included.

Connect Power & Setup: Plug your printer into a power source and follow the on-screen instructions to select the language, region, and set up the network (if it has a display panel).

Install Ink Cartridges & Load Paper: Open the printer door, install the ink cartridges, and load paper into the tray as per the manual instructions.

Download Driver & Software:

  • Visit the HP Support website.
  • Enter your printer model in the search box.
  • Download the recommended driver and software package for your operating system.

Connect Printer to Computer:

  • Via USB: Connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable.
  • Via Wireless Network: Use the printer's control panel to connect to your Wi-Fi network.

Run the Software Installer: Run the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. Select your preferred connection method (USB, wireless, or wired).

Print a Test Page: Once installation is complete, print a test page to ensure everything is set up correctly.
