Having same issue with printer that is offline. I read the solution here, went to print doctor only to find out that it doesn't support Mac. Is there any such thing for Mac users?

  • What is the exact model for your printer?
  • Are you able to make a copy?
  • What is the operating system you are using?
  • What is the exact issue you are facing?
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?

Using Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6

Printer LaserJet P1139w. 

No, I am not able to make a copy. Printer is offline. I have attempted all the troubleshooting procedures   and still it says " not connected to the server". What server does this mean? I do not have a server.

If you are unable to make a copy then it would confirm a hardware issue and I recommend you contact support and check the available service options for your printer.

 

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

 

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
