I have up to 3 HP printers.
One has printing problem because someone took the inks out and left the printer without inks installed on for a very long time so I guess the inks in the printer dried up so when the printer prints. It displays white lines on the print jobs.
I bought a new
HP Officejet Pro 9018
I didn't printer much and didn't know much about instant ink so the subscription ran out and I was able only to print a few pages and had to sent the inks back and was able to printed only a few pages..
I used normal inks. I printed and the color ran out. I looked up and refilled the ink cartridges and now the printer is giving instant ink problem.
Probably because I refilled the ink to save money and now it's giving me the error and not able to print again.
I'm afraid if I get new inks. It might give me instant ink problem again.
How do I overcome this problem??
Sincerely.

@adancutie, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Are you still using Instant Ink cartridges in the printer to print?
Did you refill the Instant Ink cartridges? If yes, then it will not work. Instant Ink cartridges will work only if the printer is enrolled in Instant Ink. Once, not subscribed, it will stop working and you have to buy regular HP ink cartridges from the store.
You may visit Hp Store to buy the compatible ink cartridges for the printer.
Note: HP does not recommend the use of non-HP/refilled ink cartridges.

In this case, you may turn off web services on the printer and then try to print.

If the error persists, please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region for further assistance or use original HP ink cartridges.
You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
