Welcome to the HP Community.

If you have not done so,

Check the Fax logs - you might need to delete stored (previous) faxes.

Eeek!

My fault - I never checked the actual model and just jumped to first common solution.

Rats.

The user manual says this error is a result of the job(s) being more than the printer can handle.

Recommendation is to break the job(s) into smaller bits.

This might be tricky using HP Smart Mobile though I think it can be done.

Are you scanning or printing a document?

I can take a look and see if I can find a "reasonable" method...
