I have an HP 9 015 Officejet Pro which I have been using for roughly 3 years. I used it with an older HP computer running Windows 10 using ethernet and an old HP laptop running Windows 10 over WiFi. It worked well. The regular computer was upgraded to a new HP 2 years ago running Windows 11 and works fine. Just got a new HP laptop running Windows 11 and tried installing the printer drivers. Every time I try to print I get an error popup message say "Printer not activated - error code 30." I have not found a way to get the printer to work. I've checked for suggestions online but nothing has resolved the issue. It doesn't make sense as the printer works fine with the old laptop (Windows 10) and the newer desktop (Windows 11).

This somewhat quirky problem is solved.
All my other HP computers have ethernet ports including my old HP laptop. When installing the printer it automatically defaulted to the TCP port because the printer is connected via ethernet to my home network. My new HP laptop does not have an ethernet port so the automatic installation process defaulted to the WiFi related port. The HP Printer can't use it's WiFi network and TCP network concurrently. I had to do a manual printer install specifying the TCP port and associated IP address. It works fine now.
