Hi, 
My printer is HP Ink Tank 115 series and I am not able to connect it to Mac OS Sequoia 15.6.1. 
I can add the printer but i am not able to print any documents. 
The print job disappears from the printer queue within seconds of opening.

If you're experiencing issues with your HP Ink Tank 115 series printer where print jobs disappear from the queue, here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

Check Software Updates: Ensure that your Mac OS and printer drivers have the latest updates installed. You can check for Mac updates by clicking on the Apple menu and selecting "System Preferences," then "Software Update."

Verify Printer Connection: Make sure that the printer is properly connected to your Mac, either via USB or a network connection.

Reinstall Printer Driver: Sometimes, reinstalling the printer driver can resolve communication issues. Remove the printer from your system preferences and add it again.

  • Go to "System Preferences" > "Printers & Scanners."
  • Select your printer and click the "-" button to remove it.
  • Re-add the printer by clicking the "+" button and selecting your HP Ink Tank 115 from the available list.

Check Print Settings: Ensure that the correct printer is selected when trying to print a document.

Reset Printer System: Resetting the printing system can sometimes resolve issues with the printer queue.

  • Go to "System Preferences" > "Printers & Scanners."
  • Right-click (or control-click) on the list of devices and choose "Reset Printing System."

Check Print Queue: Make sure there are no stalled print jobs in the queue that could be causing the issue. Open the "Printers & Scanners" preferences, select the printer, and check the "Open Print Queue..."

Try Different USB Cable or Port: If you are using a USB connection, try using a different USB cable or port.

Check for Error Messages: On the printer display, check for any error messages or flashing lights that might indicate hardware issues.

Tried everything from your suggested reply but I am unable to use the printer on my Mac OS. The Drivers for the printer are detecting the printer - HP Easy Start application couldn’t find any drivers suitable to download. And hence I am unable to print.

Try to install with the next Apple Ink Tank basic driver:

 

(1) Connect your printer with USB cable

(2) Then install the next software

* Click YES   to say thank you, 

* Click Accepted as Solution when question is answered.
