My printer was working fine until this week. Our home internet was out for 2 days but repaired with no change to the router or settings. After that, I was only able to print using the regular print option on my phone, not the HP app. Today, I'm unable to print at all because the printer isn't discoverable by pc, app or phone. I've done every troubleshooting tips (in no certain order): pushed the wifi and cancel button together to reset, confirmed that all components are on the same wifi (not 5g), putting the printer into connection mode and pressing the wps button on the router, unplugged the cord at both points and discharged the printer, moved the printer closer to the router, offloaded and reloaded the app, reset the pc and the router, etc.  If there was a bit of advice on the HP forums on on the internet, I've tried it today. The blue wifi button on the printer continues to blink but is not discoverable by any of my devices. It's been 6 hours and I'm at my wits end. Any advice for something I haven't tried?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

What's the printer model?  Depending on the model, we can use do a wireless reset on the printer and use HP App to setup and connect printer to the network.  The wireless reset (and even setup) can be done on printers with a Control panel.

When there is an Internet Service Provider | Router change | password change (for the network) or when moving to a new location, a wireless reset is needed for the printer with a re-setup using the HP app to get the printer connected to the network again.

Here's some examples on how to reset the wireless to defaults (different printers have different steps):

Reset wireless:

HP Color LaserJet Pro 3300 Printer series:

After a Wireless reset, download and install HP App from the Play Store (for Android) or Microsoft Store (For Windows PC) and use it to setup and connect printer to the network.

Hope that helps!
