7005 Smart Tank "Printer Setup" keeps on loading and never finishes...

It seems like you are encountering issues with your HP Smart Tank 7005 printer setup process not completing. Here are several steps you can take to resolve this issue:
 

Ensure Proper Power and Connection:
 

  • Check that the printer is turned on and connected to the same network as your device. Ensure the Wi-Fi indicator light on the printer is blinking or steady (as appropriate for your model).


HP App:
 


Network Issues:
 

  • Confirm your Wi-Fi network is operational and has a good signal strength.
  • Avoid using additional network extenders, which might cause connectivity issues. Connect directly to the main network.


Restart Devices:
 

  • Try restarting your router, printer, and the device you are using for the setup process.


Re-installation:
 

  • If the above steps do not work, consider uninstalling the HP Smart app and reinstalling it from 123.hp.com.
