Interesting.  I have the same printer, the CP1025nw and have tried all of the same procedures to no avail.  I have been told that the printer is just too old and is obsolete.  I find that incredible; what a waste of resources.  I probably purchase it no more than 3-4 years ago.  This seems like a money grabbing scheme to get users to go out and buy a new printer because of the Apple Mojave update.  Just pathetic.  If no solution is found, I will not be buying another HP product in the future, guaranteed!

Followed on line help from Senan6806 corrected the problem

There are no specific CP1025nw drivers for Mojave.
I tried everything, I have to go back to Sierra or buy another printer even if it's almost new.
I was hoping that HP would solve the problem, but maybe I was wrong

So, if anyone has had succes with getting this specific printer: HP Laserjet CP1025nw and the Mac Mojave os to work please post your workaround because the usual steps do not work. Thank you.

I think the only solution is an updated driver

I tried using your directions to delete the printer and then clicked on the + but no printers are listed.  Now what do I do?

If they printed previously, please try resetting the print system.

Scroll to the section of this document that discusses Reset the printing system.

Then add the print queue back using the "+" button.

Many times this will resolve odd behaviors after a system update.

Thanks, tried a thousand times already

Berco,

Thats interesting; HP customer service told me personally that there are no longer any drivers to support the CP1025nw printer for the Mac Mojave OS and yet you were able to follow Senan’s steps and got your printer to work!  How is that possible? I’m not that computer illiterate; yet following the exact steps I could not get mine to work.  I’m happy for you.

Senan,

For some reason this thread is getting confused.  We are all not talking about the same printer.  The thread was specifically referring to the HP CP1025nw; HP customer service specifically told me that there are no drivers to support that printer from the Mac Mojave 10.14 OS update.  You should check that out and please post your results appropriately on this thread.  Thank you.
