I have an HP Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M183fw printer.  Everything seems to be hooked up properly but when I print a page the right side of the text is not printing, i.e., does not print the whole page.  Anyone have experience with this?

Hi @AnnieV6 ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M183fw printer is not printing the complete page, there are several potential causes for this issue. Here are troubleshooting steps you can follow to address the problem:

Check Toner Cartridges:

  • Ensure that the toner cartridges are properly installed and have sufficient toner.
  • If a toner cartridge is low, replace it with a new one.

Print Preview:

  • Before printing, preview the document on your computer to check if the entire content is visible.

Paper Size and Type:

  • Make sure that the paper size and type settings on the printer match the settings in your print job and the actual paper loaded in the tray.

Print Driver Settings:

  • Verify that the print driver settings on your computer match the paper size and type settings on the printer.

Margins:

  • Check the margins of your document to ensure that the content is not inadvertently being cut off.

Print Quality Settings:

  • Adjust the print quality settings to see if a lower quality setting allows the entire page to be printed.

Update or Reinstall Drivers:

  • Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed. If not, update the drivers from the HP website.
  • Consider reinstalling the printer drivers on your computer.

Firmware Update:

  • Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer on the HP support website. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve printing issues.

Check for Obstructions:

  • Examine the paper path for any obstructions that may be causing the printing issue.

Test with Different Software:

  • Try printing from a different program or application to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is specific to one software or if it's a printer-related issue.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.-
