it worked a year ago. Now I'm confused cause i set this up and it was fine.

I followed every set up step it just gave me. I have no blinking lights, downloaded smart app, connected it to wifi network, and I'm not savvy enough to understand most of the help the virtual assistant gave. I'm almost certain this is a ID-10-T error😂😂 I'm a verbal person when it comes to tech and this thing is out of warranty. All i want is to print from comp.

@FreddieB48, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Let us print a printer status report

Press and hold the Cancel button  for 3 seconds.

A Printer Status Report prints. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a software issue.

  • Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network.
  • This printer supports only 2.4GHz network. So, the PC should be on the 2.4GHz network.
  • If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.

Click here to know how to print using the HP Smart app.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
