Hi @Js1-_1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP printer is showing as offline and is not connecting to the wireless network, here are several steps you can take to resolve the issue:

Check Printer Settings:

  • Ensure the printer's wireless setting is turned on. The wireless light on the printer should be solid and not blinking, indicating a stable connection.
  • If the wireless light is blinking, it means the printer isn't connected to the network. Run the Wireless Setup Wizard from the printer's control panel display to set up wireless communication.

Network Configuration:

  • From the control panel, print a Network Configuration Page to check the printer's network settings, including IP address and network status.
  • Ensure the printer's IP address has not changed. If it has, use the Update IP utility installed with your printer software to update the IP address.

Wireless Network Test:

  • Use the printer's control panel to print a Wireless Test Report. This report will indicate any issues with the wireless connection.

Restart Devices:

  • Turn off the router, printer, and computer. Turn them back on in the following order: router first, then the printer, and finally the computer. This can help resolve network communication issues.

Check Router and Computer:

  • Ensure that your computer is connected to the same wireless network as the printer. Verify that the wireless network is functioning properly.
  • Make sure the network hub, switch, or router is turned on and working correctly.

Firewall and Antivirus:

  • Sometimes, firewall or antivirus software can block communication with your printer. Temporarily disable these programs to see if they are causing the connection issue.

Use Ethernet Connection as a Backup:

  • If wireless connectivity cannot be restored, connect the printer to the network using an Ethernet cable as a temporary solution.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
