Hi @Derpy5150

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your printer is showing as "offline" despite trying common fixes, here are some more advanced troubleshooting steps you can take:

1. Check Printer Connection

  • Wired Connection: Ensure the USB or Ethernet cable is securely connected.
  • Wireless Connection: Make sure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer. You can print a network configuration page from the printer to check this.

2. Set Printer as Default

  • Go to Devices and Printers in the Control Panel (Windows).
  • Right-click your printer and select Set as default printer.

3. Clear Print Queue

  • Open Devices and Printers, right-click your printer, and select See what's printing.
  • Cancel all print jobs and close the window.

4. Disable Offline Mode

  • Right-click your printer in Devices and Printers.
  • Uncheck Use Printer Offline if it's checked.

5. Update Printer Drivers

  • Go to the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for your printer model.

6. Restart Print Spooler Service

  1. Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog.
  2. Type services.msc and press Enter.
  3. Find Print Spooler, right-click it, and select Restart.

7. Firewall/Security Software

  • Temporarily disable any firewall or security software to see if it's blocking the printer connection. If it resolves the issue, you may need to add an exception for the printer.

8. Reinstall the Printer

  1. Remove the printer from Devices and Printers.
  2. Re-add the printer by selecting Add a printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
