Printer is offline    What can I do to bring it online?

Hi there,

 

If you haven't done this already, the first thing to try would be to restart everything:  your PC/mobile, your printer, and your router.  That will fix things most of the time.

 

If that doesn't work, you'll want to make sure the printer and the computer/mobile device are on the same network.  If you've printed from the printer before, then they probably are on the same network, but it's good to double-check.

  • Computer or mobile device: Open the list of available networks and make sure it is connected to the correct network.

  • Printer: Check the Wireless light on the control panel. If it is solid blue, the printer is connected.
 

If all of that is good, then you'll want to try the additional troubleshooting steps in this support document.
