Hi @Papou3
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
It sounds like your HP ENVY Pro 6455 All-in-One Printer keeps going offline after switching to a new HP desktop running Windows 11.
Let's go through some HP-specific troubleshooting steps to resolve this.
Steps to Fix HP ENVY Pro 6455 Printer Offline Issue
1. Restart Devices
- Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
- Computer: Restart your HP desktop to refresh the connection.
- Router: Restart your Wi-Fi router to ensure a stable network.
2. Check Printer Connection
- If using Wi-Fi, ensure the printer is connected to the same network as your desktop.
- If using USB, unplug and reconnect the cable.
- If using Ethernet, check that both ends of the cable are properly inserted.
3. Reset the Printing System on Windows 11
- Open Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
- Select your HP ENVY Pro 6455 and click Remove Device.
- Restart your computer and re-add the printer.
4. Run HP Smart’s Diagnose & Fix Tool
- Open the HP Smart app on your desktop.
- Click Diagnose & Fix to troubleshoot offline issues.
5. Update Printer Firmware
- Visit HP’s official firmware update page here and download the latest firmware for your printer.
- Install the update and restart the printer.
6. Set Printer to Online Mode
- Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your printer and select See What’s Printing.
- Click Printer in the top menu and uncheck Use Printer Offline.
