Hello There,
Since last changing both black and color ink cartridges of my HP OfficeJet 3833, it will only print in grayscale from all laptops. The option to change from b/w to color in the printer settings is missing (see pic below; its in german, but you'll get the idea, hopefully)
Deleting all drivers and software and reinstalling didn't help unfortunately.
I tried the standard hp software as well as "HP Smart" from the Windows Store.
When printing from my android phone or a test page from the printer directly, colors are printed correctly.
I tried with both my personal and my work laptop (both Lenovo and Win 10) and it gives me the same result. I'm using the printer via WIFI connection.
I greatly appreciate any feedback and/or helping advice
Thank you

I found the solution in this thread on page 3: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Inkjet-Printing/HP-OfficeJet-3830-has-not-option-to-print-in-color/td-...
To make it clear for anyone who might face this problem in the future, here are the steps that brought me to a solution:
1.) Uninstall any HP software
2.) got to Control Panel -> Devices and Printers
3.) delete the printer from there
4.) search for 'printui /s /t2' in the windows search bar and open
5.) delete the driver and driver package with the name 'HP OfficeJet 3830 series'
6.) restart the computer
7.) go to Control Panel -> Devices and Printers -> Add Printer
8.) click the option “the printer I want wasn’t listed”
9.) add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname
10.) enter the IP address from the printer display
11.) make sure the checkbox is checked to get driver from printer
12.) continue with installation wizard
13.) done: the option to choose between black/white and color is back
I hope I could help.
Edit: on my work computer I had to do all the setps twice for some reason..
