Upgraded to 10 from 7 yesterday. All printing was good. Installed office 2013 today and now printer won't print any other than test page. Help program says all is well.

@buddy267 Welcome to HP Community!
Root level uninstall and reinstall printer drivers:
- Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP OfficeJet printer entries and uninstall them.
- Now go to Control panel – Devices and printer – Select all the printer entries and remove the device.
- Then press the "windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window open - Type "printui.exe /s" and press enter.
- Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any entry there as well.
- Again, go running window, type – “c:/programdata” – Go to the Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
To reinstall, click here.
If the issue persists, please reinstall the driver using Windows built-in drivers.
Also, please refer to the following link to troubleshoot.

Thanks for the reply.
Did all of that but didn't work. I just re-formatted my old Asus - windows 10 - and installed the driver there - first time - no problem - without using any of the steps I tried on the new Dell G3 windows 10 laptop. Why is there a different outcome on two windows 10 laptops?

- Are you getting any error message while installing the printer driver?
- Have you tried the previous post steps?
- Please let me know which printer model you are using.
Keep us posted,
Have a great day!

I am trying to install a HP Laserjet P1007. I can install the same driver and print with it on my old ASUS laptop which runs windows 10. When I installed it on the ASUS after re-formatting it all went smoothly. I have restarted my new Dell to allow non signed drivers to be installed but that doesn't work either.

Thank you for the update.
For Windows 10 operating system there are no specific drivers.
However, you can Install the Host-based plug and play drivers. Please click the following link to download the drivers.
