Hi @Bigbird41,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding language settings on your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your printer is printing in German after changing networks or moving to England, you may need to adjust the language settings on your printer. Here's how you can change the language back to English:

Change Language Settings on Your Printer

Access Printer Settings: Locate the control panel on your HP printer. This may be a touchscreen or physical button panel, depending on your model.

Navigate to Language Settings:

  • If your printer has a display screen, access the main menu and find the "Settings" or "Setup" option.
  • Look for "Preferences" or "System Settings."

Select Language:

  • Find "Language" in the menu options.
  • Select English from the list of available languages.

Save Changes: Confirm your selection and save the changes.

Change Language Settings through HP Software

Open HP Printer Software: Access the HP printer software on your computer.

Printer Settings:

  • Click on "Printer Settings" or "Maintenance Settings."
  • Find language settings within these menu options.

Select English: Change the language to English and save your changes.

If you experience difficulty navigating the German menus, you can use translation tools to help guide you through the process. Additionally, if you're unable to find the settings, consult the printer's manual for detailed instructions specific to your model.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, consider reinstalling the printer drivers and software, which might reset the language to your region's default. You can download the latest drivers from the HP Support website.

I hope this helps.
