Product: HP ENVY Inspire 7920e All-in-One Printer

I have a new HP Envy Inspire 7920e printer/scanner.  It has printed fine until today when it has stopped printing in coulee and prints only greyscale.  I have an iMac running MacOS Ventura 13.4.1(c).  The printer was set up using HP Smart and the driver is current.  My gut feeling is that this is simply a system configuration, but I cannot find a setting anywhere that refers to print colour options.  Any ideas for a desperate user?
