Recently my printer started printing double lines, the text looks like double vision. We've done everything we can think of to fix the issue and nothing seems to work.
- We've replaced both the black and color ink cartridges
- Ran the alignment scan
- Did a paper feed clean
- Dusted the inside with canned air
- Uninstalled and Installed Drivers
I've ran a Printer Status Report and that looks great but when I run a test page that looks blurry. Also it seems like anything I print from the internet is blurry. Could this be a connection issue or a Windows 10 issue?

@ojack7733, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
- Try making a standalone copy and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.
- Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word, or Webpages and check if the issue persists?
Also, make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - Fixing Print Quality Problems.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

@kumar0307, Thanks for reaching out!
I did try a standalone copy and that came out great. I've tried printing e-mails and pdfs and they all come out blurry.
What can we do if its a hardware/driver issue?

Let us perform a clean reinstallation of Pre-installed HP drivers
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
- Select your HP Printer
- Select Uninstall
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
- In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
- Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
- Click on the “Drivers” tab
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
- Select Ok
- Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
- Close Devices and Printers, restart the computer.
Click here to download the HP Full-featured driver.
Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.
Try printing.
If the issue persists, Install the printer using Windows built-in driver
Refer to this document to know how.
Let me know how this goes.
