Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

hello I've been using HP envy 6000 series and has no issue in the past 1 year. However starting this year, it has been slow to print. What's worse, now, it shows ready in hp smart app but when I have a print job, it always shows 'looking for printer' even though printer is on / reset. I've tried reset / recharge / reset up hp smart -not working. Why? this is super frustrating!!! only 1 year.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

I understand that you are facing issues with slow printing. I'd like to help!


What is the OS you are currently using?
Have you done any changes to the printer or software?

Meanwhile, uninstall and reinstall the HP Smart app. Check for the latest version and install it. You may refer to this link. 


Once done, check if the printer works fine. 
As you also mentioned, it prints slowly, you may refer to this document here and see how it goes.
