Hi I need to reset my region as I brought my printer from South Africa to the UK, and my new 304 ink cartridges are being displayed as incompatible. The US Support Community technical help already gave me instructions and the reset code, however it didn't work, there was an error. So they instructed me to use my local HP support community. 

I am able to connect to the printer with my USB cable, and I have full printer software installed, and updated firmware etc. So I just need specific help to resolve the error and reset my region so I can use 304 ink cartridges. Many thanks

Yes, we need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.  

  

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.  

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

Im using a DeskJet Ink Advantage 4535.  The product was bought in the middle east and i am now in India.
