Printer requires manual okay to print

If your printer requires a manual "okay" to print, it likely means the printer settings are set to "manual feed" mode, which means you need to manually load each sheet of paper into a specific slot on the printer before it can print, usually because the printer is expecting a special paper size or type that isn't loaded in the standard paper tray; you'll typically see a prompt on the printer screen asking you to confirm before printing

bring up printer properties and make sure the default paper is the paper you want to print and that paper is loaded.

I might also suggest that you prevent windows from managing your printers. If you try to print a word document and the last printer you used was a label printer, windows will send the job to the label printer instead of the default printer if you are not careful. This happened to me and I had to unplug the label printer to stop it.

You can also set defaults such as the paper source that the feeder pulls from.
