I'm using an HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e wirelessly. When I try to print an email message from my iPhone, I select my printer in the Options/Printer box fine, but the printer then disappears in ca. 4 sec. to be replaced by the default "No Printer Selected" prompt. How can I print? The OS is Sonoma 14.3.1.

Hi @ProfessorDBT,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing a connectivity issue between your iPhone and the HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e printer. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

  • Check Printer Connection: Ensure that your printer is turned on and properly connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone. Sometimes, printers can drop off the network or experience connectivity issues.
  • Restart Devices: Try restarting both your iPhone and the HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e printer. This can help refresh their connection to the Wi-Fi network and resolve any temporary glitches.
  • Update Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Sometimes, updating the printer's firmware can fix compatibility issues with mobile devices. Update the firmware on an HP printer
  • Forget and Reconnect Wi-Fi: On your iPhone, forget the Wi-Fi network to which your printer is connected, then reconnect to it. This can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.
  • Reset Printing System: On your iPhone, you can try resetting the printing system. To do this, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Printing System. This will remove all printers from your iPhone and reset the printing system settings. Afterward, you can re-add your HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e printer.
  • Update iOS: Make sure your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS. Sometimes, updating your device's operating system can resolve compatibility issues with printers.
  • Reinstall Printer Driver: If possible, reinstall the printer driver on your iPhone. Sometimes, corrupted printer drivers can cause issues with printing. Software and Drivers for HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e All-in-One Printer
