I have a hp officejet pro 7720 which I purchased some time ago but not setup. I am now trying to do the set up with the setup ink cartridges. The error message I am receiving is that one of the cartridges is leaking. It won't accept the new cartridges that I have purchased. How can I bypass this message so I can proceed with the setup. Thank you.

Hello,
Remove both cartridges and check if there is an ink leakage ?
If there is no ink leak happening, then try the below steps.
- Ensure both the cartridges are removed.
- While the printer is ON, unplug the power cord from back of the unit.
- Wait for 60 seconds.
- Plug in the power cord to the printer. Press the ON button , If printer does not power on automatically.
- Install cartridges and close the cartridge access door.

Why is it SO HARD for Computer/Printer Manufacturers to send instructions along or provide an Installation Disc like they did before Windows 11? I am not an IT EXPERT, just an ignorant ARCHITECT with 35 years in the Business and I still read instructions.
PS: Ink still is NOT compatible!
