Hello,

 

I’m hoping to find some answers and a fix for why HP 9010e printer has stopped working and stuck on the Incomplete Setup stage. I have tried all steps listed on troubleshooting this error “Error Code: OW_4XX_OWSWS00001” and yet I cannot print any documents. Reset to factory defaults, checking latest drivers, removing HP smart app, removing printer from HP smart app, hidden support menu semi/full reset, network IP reset - nothing works

Anyone else face this issue? I’m hoping for someone from HP or this community to shed light on how to fix this?

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

 

If your HP 9010e printer is stuck on the Incomplete Setup stage with Error Code OW_4XX_OWSWS00001, and you've already attempted standard troubleshooting steps, there are additional measures you can consider:

Update the HP Smart App:

Restore Printer Factory Defaults:

  • Use either the HP Smart app or the printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS) to restore factory default settings.

Remove and Re-add the Printer:

  • In the HP Smart app, close and reopen the app, turn the printer off and then back on, and remove the printer by right-clicking or long-pressing its name. Click "Forget Printer" and then add it again.

Thanks for your response. I tried all the steps you provided and still run into the same error. Is there anything else that can be done to fix this issue?
