Product: HP DeskJet 3630 All-in-One Printer

I have a new Deskjet 3630. I only print from my laptop. I installed all updates and the drivers are up to date as well.  But it is stuck in Landscape mode, nothing I do will change it back to portrait mode. I try to print but I get a message every time that the mode was changed back due to a conflict with another printer setting. I keep resetting the preferences but it just switches back and I cannot override it. It is my default printer. I have never seen this before. The printer used to work fine and changed to this problem all by itself. I do not not understand. I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it, but it did not help.
