Hi @McCoy3,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your HP ENVY Photo 7155 is having some trouble. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:
Power Cycle: Even though you’ve tried unplugging it, try a more thorough power cycle:
- Unplug the printer from the power source.
- Wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds to discharge any residual power.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
Check for Firmware Updates: If you can get the printer to connect to your computer, check if there’s a firmware update available. Sometimes updating the firmware can resolve issues. Update the firmware on an HP printer
Check Printer Connections: Ensure that all cables and connections are secure. This includes the power cable and any connections between the printer and your computer.
Reset to Factory Defaults: If the printer still won’t respond, you might need to perform a factory reset. Since you can’t access the menu via the power button, this might be tricky. Refer to the printer’s manual for instructions on how to perform a reset.
HP Smart App: If possible, try accessing the printer settings through the HP Smart app on your macOS device. Sometimes you can manage and troubleshoot the printer through the app even if the printer is stuck on a loading screen.
Check for Hardware Issues: If none of the above steps work, there might be a hardware issue. Contact HP support for further assistance or consider taking the printer to an authorized service center.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
