HP Recommended

The HP driver thinks my printer and driving computer are on different continents.  Any new web page takes up to 5 minutes waiting for the printer to connect.

 

It sometimes helps to restart the printer each morning

 

Printer is on FAST Ethernet. On computer (Desktop) is on FAST Ethernet. Laptops are on modern fast wireless. 

 

All the above is in the same residence not more than 10 meters from each other. 

 

Updated firmware and drivers have been reinstalled from Store several times.
