Tried a Canon printer but could not get it toprint. Would rather have a UP printer need to know which one to get.

Hi,

Most current HP printers are supported on Chrome OS via USB or through the network using HP Print for Chrome:

Network-enabled printers support scanning using Web Scan:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05881028

 

Select HP Officejet Pro and Laserjet printers can use the Scan to Email feature which provide some more functionality comparing web scan:

To better suggest a printer to meet your needs, approx. how many pages would you print in a month?

 

Would you need scan capabilities too or not?

 

Would you need fax capabilities?

 

Would you need a color or black and white printer?

 

Please provide some more details to provide you a better answer to meet your own needs, printing habits and needs vary from one user to another.
